Being Who I Say I Am Serm

Welcome to First Baptist Church, Sacramento's website!

Our faith is in a Living Savior, one who saves us from our sins, if we trust in Him.

Jesus Christ is Alive!  Glory!  Hallelujah!  Jesus Christ is Alive!

Won't you place your trust in Him today?  His death and resurrection is for you, to atone for your sins and to impart to you eternal, everlasting life.

We are a Church where:

*Hope is Found*

*Growth is Experienced*

*Change Happens*

God is an amazing God.  He promises great things when we trust in Him, through Jesus Christ. If you're not sure what that means, talk to us!

Please join us! We are told that we are a friendly church, and we'd like to believe that's true. You can be assured of a handshake, a smile, and a good sermon message. Stick around and introduce yourself, and we'll do our best to make you feel at home.

If you would like individual prayer, at the conclusion of the worship service, please come to the front pews where staff members will be privileged to pray with you.

Three Weeks' Memory Verses

Week 29 -
2 Timothy 2:15
Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not neet to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.

Week 30 -

Titus 2:12,13

Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ.

Week 31 –

Psalm 63:1-3

O God, You are my God;

Early will I seek You;

My soul thirsts for You;

My flesh longs for You

In a dry and thirsty land

Where there is no water.

So I have looked for You in the sanctuary,

To see Your power and Your glory.

Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You.
