Answering Life’s Questions
Are we born only to exist for seventy to eighty years then die? Is there more to life than to say; “Eat drink and be merry for tomorrow we die"?

If you are a believer in the big bang theory, or that you evolved from the primordial ooze of the universe or you are the results of millions of years of chance evolutionary development with no Creator then most likely the answer to this question would be no.

Why am I here? Where did I come from? What am I worth? Do I have any intrinsic value? Do I serve any purpose? All are fundamental questions of life. Each coming back to the beginning question why am I here and bringing us to the most basic of questions, "Does God really exist?"

During the next few weeks in our “Live Connect” service on Wednesday night we are going to be examining some of the great philosophical questions of life and seeing what the Bible has to say about them.

Many today pursue lives seeking wealth, couriers, social status, success, and acknowledgment of other only to find that it all leads to a dead end.

Henry David Thoreau wealth, couriers, social status, success, and acknowledgment of other only said that “Most men lead lives of quiet desperation”. So if wealth, couriers, social status, success, and acknowledgment of others does not bring the fullness of life that we all seek, what is the answer? Join me on Wednesday nights as we address the “Great Questions of Life”. — Pastor Steve O’Brien

Greetings from the youth ministry!
Well I am happy to report that the youth had a very successful carwash fundraiser in preparation for the upcoming summer camps! I can say with all confidence that the brave people who come to get their cars washed left with a car that was indeed cleaner then when it arrived! All joking aside we had a very blessed day. Good fellowship, beautiful weather and many laughs seemed to be the theme of the day and no doubt the people who drove through our parking lot were blessed.

Youth Ministry Bar. B. Q.

On Sunday we held a Bar. B. Q. here at the church that was a huge success as well and from what I saw and the feedback I received from other people, everyone really enjoyed thoroughly enjoyed it. I want to be sure to thank all of you for blessing the youth and allowing them to serve you. It is so important for them to be able to experience the joy of serving and to also experience God’s blessing through it. Once Again thank you!  Thank you for the scholarship funds already given! We still can use your help in funding!                 — Paul O’Brien, Youth Leader
